Phillip Schofield and his former This Morning colleague lover have reportedly signed a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to prevent them ever talking publicly about their affair.
Schofield's ITV career came to an abrupt end last year after the 61-year-old admitted to having had an affair with a younger male colleague, and he has remained out of the public eye ever since.
At the time, Schofield labelled the relationship "unwise but not illegal." The man in question, who has not been named officially, was hired as a runner on the ITV staple at the age of 19.
It's now been reported the pair have signed strict NDAs to keep details of the relationship away from the public.
A source stated: "It means that Phil knows that his young ex will not ever be able to speak about their relationships so he can probably sleep a lot better at night now."
Speaking to the Daily Mail, they added: "He has lost a lot but imagine if the full details came out it would be pretty cataclysmic for him."

GB News has reached out to Schofield's representatives for comment.
Last June, the former presenter, who worked on This Morning for more than 20 years, gave a candid interview to the BBC about the scandal.
He told Amol Rajan at the time: "The first thing I want to say is: I am deeply sorry for having lied to them, and to many others about a relationship that I had with someone working on This Morning.
"I did have a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague at This Morning.

"Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship.
"That relationship was unwise, but not illegal. It is now over."
He went on to say: "I have lied to my employers at ITV, to my colleagues and friends, to my agents, to the media and therefore the public and most importantly of all to my family.
"I am so very, very sorry, as I am for having been unfaithful to my wife."

The revelations last year came about after a reported feud between Schofield and This Morning co-star and former close friend, Holly Willoughby.
Willoughby also gave a lengthy speech to This Morning viewers in light of the highly-publicised controversy.
She stated: "You, me and all of us at This Morning gave our love and support to someone who was not telling the truth, who acted in a way that they themselves felt that they had to resign from ITV, and step down from a career that they loved. That is a lot to process.
“And it’s equally hard to see the toll that it’s taken on their own mental health. I think what unites us all now is a desire to heal for the health and wellbeing of everyone."
