Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby co-hosted ITV’s This Morning show amid a growing feud between the TV couple
Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby both looked solemn as they headed into This Morning’s studio to host ITV’s morning programme today.
The pair, who first co-hosted the show in 2009, appeared on television screens at 10am following crisis talks between ITV and the TV couple.
Phillip, 61, left his West London home at around 6.30am wearing jeans, a casual shirt and boots.
Holly, 42, rocked a similarly casual look as she left her South West London home in jeans, a wax jacket and sunglasses at around 7am.
Former This Morning colleague and GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes claimed the pair deserved special nominations for the “best actor” catagories at the Baftas last night.
He said: “He's brought in lawyers, she's brought in a PR team.
“The public surely suss that there is no chemistry, that it is a broken fit between the two of them.
“This Morning doesn't depend on who presents it. It's an institution.

“It will carry on no matter who presents it. And anybody can check the viewing figures.
“There is no difference between when they present it, or whenever anybody else does.”
Phillip reportedly called in his own lawyers and brought in a new PR guru amid the fallout with Holly.
There were initial fears at ITV HQ in White City that the pair may not appear together today.

However, crisis talks appear to have provided a short-term resolution to the problem.
Phillip addressed rumours about his relationship with Holly just a few days ago.
Schofield admitted: “The last few weeks haven’t been easy for either of us.
“As I have said before, Holly is my rock.”

He continued: “We’re the best of friends – as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.
“Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her.”
Phillip had a brief hiatus from TV screens after his brother Timothy, 54, was tried at Exeter Crown Court for sexually abusing a teenage boy.
