This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Dermot O’Leary were left speechless after Gino D’Acampo made an awkward comment about Phillip Schofield live on This Morning.
The Italian chef made his return after a long break from the ITV show but caused chaos when he asked what he had missed over the past month.
Former presenter Schofield was forced to quit last month after a relationship he had with a runner who worked on the show was revealed.
As Willoughby and O’Leary sat on the sofa, D’Acampo asked them what had been going on and if there was anything he needed to know from the past month.

The hosts appeared taken back by the query and remained silent before Willoughby began to smile.
Introducing the chef, O’Leary said: "It's been a while but Gino is finally allowed back in the This Morning kitchen."
D’Acampo replied: "I was in Italy for a month and I can't wait to cook for all of you."
He added: "Everything is under control, I'm back. Any news? Anything in the last month that I should know of?"
O’Leary sat awkwardly with a pen in his mouth while Willoughby laughed beside him.
"No news," Willoughby said smiling, as D’Acampo interrupted and said: "No news, OK so I can go straight into the cooking."
Schofield left This Morning after lying to ITV chiefs and colleagues about his affair.
Following the revelations, Dame Carolyn McCall faced a grilling in front of MPs at the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee in Westminster.
Dame Carolyn confirmed ITV officials became aware of the rumours about Schofield having a relationship with a younger member of This Morning's production team in early 2020.
But stressed that Schofield and the former This Morning staff member "repeatedly denied" rumours about their relationship.
She also labelled the affair as "deeply inappropriate" due to its "imbalance of power".
