Penny Lancaster, 53, opened up about the emotional moment she realised her son Alastair, 18, was becoming an adult and beamed with pride when revealing what he was planning to do in university.
Lancaster and her husband Rod Stewart, 79, often update their fans on their family's milestones and recently shared the news that Stewart's son Liam got married - posting images on their social media.
The couple also attends holidays with their whole family, sharing their most recent one to the Mediterranean and posting on Instagram: "Another amazing family holiday together (a few were sadly missed) in the med, bonding, healing, love and laughter."
Lancaster was asked by Kaye Adams how she felt about her eldest son growing up, to which she replied: "Alastair is waiting for his A-Level results but he’s been given an offer at the fashion academy, the Jimmy Choo Academy in London."
She revealed that he is going to embark on a three-year degree in fashion, design, entrepreneurship, and branding.
Lancaster beamed to her Loose Women co-stars on Thursday: "I’m very proud of him but I think when we’re talking about your children turning into adults, I recognised him as a man for the first time when he was given the honour of being his brother’s best man at his wedding.

"Liam got married to Nicole, he made the most incredible, heartfelt speech, he performed it like - I was just so proud of him. I was like, ‘That’s a man’."
Lancaster's sweet words about her family were accompanied by applause from the studio audience, as well as her fellow panellists.
The 53-year-old has been away from the show for some time, and left fans thrilled to see she was back on their screens, with one X user noting: "Great to see Penny back after so long and always great having Kaye and Judi too. Can't wait."
Another added: "Oh how I have missed Penny on my screen! She is such a ray of sunshine and a positive addition to the show!" (sic)

Lancaster and Stewart recently celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary - prompting the former model to open up about the difficult aspects of being married to one of the world's best-selling artists.
The couple tied the knot in 2007 with the rock legend sharing a sweet snap on his Instagram story of the pair marking the special occasion. The caption read: "Celebrating 17 years of love."
Speaking to Hello! magazine recently, Lancaster admitted: "It was exciting to go out with someone who was living this extraordinary life. But I quickly realised that I would always be under scrutiny. That was the hard part."
She also told the same publication that her husband was a "workaholic" and couldn't see him slowing down anytime soon.
