The 53-year-old's post came soon after her husband's shock admission
Penny Lancaster penned a sweet update shortly after rocker husband Rod Stewart shocked fans with a candid health admission.
Just days ago Stewart, 79, admitted he's "aware my days are numbered" as he reflected on his age.
The Maggie May singer has enjoyed a decades-long career and even confessed recently he has no plans to retire, but he told The Sun last week: "We have all got to pass on at some point, so we are all in the same basket.
"I am going to be enjoying myself for these last few years as much as I can." He also noted: "I'm aware my days are numbered but I've got no fear."
A day later Lancaster, 53, shared a wholesome update with her 197,000 Instagram followers along with a smiling selfie.
Posting a snap of herself resting her head in her hand against a blue sky, she shared her relief to be away from the capital.
She penned: "After a couple of crazy days and nights in central London, there's nothing I like more than getting back out to the country and laying out on the cool grass on an early summers evening.
"Breathing in fresh air and the smell of the earth beneath me. Listening to the birds and watching the butterflies, dance about while being chased by my two devoted doggies." She concluded the post: "I'm at peace, I'm home."
Reflecting recently on his hopes to continue his career for as long as possible, Stewart commented: "I don't see any possibility of slowing down anytime soon."
He continued: "And as I get older, I only really want to do things that give me great pleasure."

Lancaster backed him up as she remarked: "He loves what he does so much and will never retire."
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, she went on to reveal her husband's relentless energy expands outside of his career as she admitted she "struggles" to keep up with his fitness regime.
She added: "He's a workaholic and constantly on the move. I struggle to keep up with his training schedule. He works out three or four times a week, even on tour."
Stewart and Lancaster share a large blended family, with the couple sharing two sons themselves, Alastair, 18, and Aiden, 13.

"We like to take every opportunity to bring the family, children, and grandchildren together," Loose Women star Lancaster shared.
"Part of the family lives in America, part in England, so it requires a lot of planning, but at least two or three times a year, the whole clan comes together."
