The TV personality shared how the A-list couple face some difficulties in their marriage
Penny Lancaster has shared the difficult aspects of being married to one of the world's best-selling artists as she shared a candid confession about her husband, Sir Rod Stewart.
The couple tied the knot in 2007, and frequently share sweet updates on their lives together, but TV personality Lancaster does find some elements of life with Stewart "hard".
Former model Lancaster, 53, recently celebrated her 17th wedding anniversary with the Maggie May hitmaker, 79.
The rock legend shared a sweet snap on his Instagram Story of the pair marking the special occasion. The caption over the photo read: "Celebrating 17 years of love," and showed the singer crouched behind his wife, who was seated in a chair.
While the couple's display of affection towards each other is regularly displayed online, Lancaster recently admitted it isn't all smooth sailing for the A-listers.
Speaking to Hello! magazine recently, she shared: "It was exciting to go out with someone who was living this extraordinary life.

"But I quickly realised that I would always be under scrutiny. That was the hard part."
The couple met when Lancaster was 27, and seven years later the rocker proposed in Paris, where the couple recently enjoyed a romantic trip.
Stewart and Lancaster have a large blended family, with the couple sharing two sons themselves, Alastair, 18, and Aiden, 13, while Stewart has six other children from previous marriages.
Speaking to the same publication, Lancaster also admitted her husband remains "a workaholic".
"He's a workaholic and constantly on the move. I struggle to keep up with his training schedule. He works out three or four times a week, even on tour."
She continued: "We like to take every opportunity to bring the family, children, and grandchildren together.
"Part of the family lives in America, part in England, so it requires a lot of planning, but at least two or three times a year, the whole clan comes together."
She went on to admit the dynamicso f having such a big family can be a struggle, continuing: "There are the usual family ups and downs.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"You have to use a lot of diplomacy, be patient and understanding. In the end, it's worth it because you experience this wonderful bond that only a family can have."
Earlier this month, it was reported Stewart's son Sean, 43, has split from his wife, TV producer Jody Weintraub.
The pair got married last year but sources say they've already called time on their romance.
It was also reported that the son of the 79-year-old singer has already been separated from Weintraub for "several months", according to sources.
