Hull-born singer and actress Patricia Bredin has died at the age of 88.
Her family says she died at her farm in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Bredin was just 22 years of age when she took to the stage to represent the UK at Eurovision in Frankfurt, Germany.
She addressed her Eurovision stint in an interview just a few years ago.
Bredin told the BBC in 2016: "Singing in the final in Frankfurt, Germany, it was wonderful, because they had about a 60-piece orchestra and it was like being on clouds."
She ended up moving to Canada after marrying millionaire Charles MacCulloch.
While she shot to fame in the UK for her Eurovision stint, her CV also boasted roles in a number of TV shows and movies.

On the big screen, her feature-length credits include Titi-Pu, Ninety Years On, To Have and to Hold, and The Secret of Monte Cristo.
In the world of TV, she appeared in ITV Play of the Week, The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre, and Charlie Drake.
Bredin ended up finishing seventh in the very first Eurovision - although the contest only had 10 participating countries at the time.
The singer performed the track All - a love song which was incredibly short in length as it ran for less than two minutes.
Journalist Anne-Marie Tasker led the tributes online as dozens took to Twitter to share their condolences.
She penned: "Very sad to hear Patricia Bredin has died, aged 88. Such a pleasure to spend time at her home in Canada and share a glass of bubbly.
"Patricia told us many stories about her film & singing career and being the 1st ever UK representative at #Eurovision in 1957. RIP Patricia."
While one fan echoed: "R.I.P. Patricia Bredin, the U.K.'s first #eurovision entrant, the first act to perform in English and the singer with the shortest performance in the final of the contest.

"Her husband died on honeymoon and she gave up performing and took up cattle farming in Canada."
Meanwhile, another added: "Patricia Bredin (UK’s first Eurovision singer) died today, and I only just realised. RIP," followed by a sad emoji.
And another Twitter user replied to an article confirming the news by saying: "My condolences to her family and friends."
