The rocker has been open about his ongoing health issues

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have revealed they've had to halt plans to return to the UK from America due to Ozzy's ongoing health issues.

The Black Sabbath star, 75 and TV personality Sharon, 71, have been settled in the US for decades but in recent years they have expressed their desire to move back to England.

Rocker Ozzy has been battling Parkinson's disease, which he and former X Factor judge Sharon have been candid about in the past.

With their children, Kelly and Jack, the family, who once starred in a reality series together, frequently update fans via their podcast, The Osbournes.

In a recent episode, the husband and wife duo addressed the delay to their big move home, with Sharon explaining her husband's health had derailed plans.

"It just seems that every time we're set to go something happens with Ozzy’s health, and so we'll get there," she explained in response to a fan's question.

She continued: "We want to go back so bad, but we’ll get there won’t we, Ozzy? We will."

"We're trying to get on a flight," the musician added.]

The former heavy metal star has undergone multiple surgeries in the last few years after getting injured in a fall in 2019.

His Parkinson's disease also presents challenges, which he addressed in the podcast as he reflected: "When you lose your health, nothing else f***ing matters."

Expressing her desire to return to the UK, Sharon pointed out her fondness for the Royal Family, stating: "I miss all that tradition terribly."

Kelly, 39, also seems keen to get back across the pond as she mentioned how much she missed their estate in Buckinghamshire, known as Welders House.

"I love Welders. It’s my favourite place in the world to be," the mother-of-one shared.

Agreeing, her mother replied: "It’s the only place where I feel at peace."

Sharon made a brief return to England earlier this year when she took part in Celebrity Big Brother, stirring up some controversies in the house before leaving after a week.

Just last month, Sharon had to announce she and Ozzy would need to miss an upcoming event due to her husband's poor health.

It was understood the couple were due to attend the Mad Monster Party in Arizona with their two children in July.

However, they were forced to share an update that their son would attend without them on Instagram.

Sharon penned: "Regretfully the Osbourne family have to cancel our upcoming appearance at the Mad Monster Party in Phoenix because Ozzy is unable to travel at this time.

"However Jack will be there flying the flag for the Osbourne's. Everybody who bought the Osbourne package will of course get full refunds. We would like to thank you all for your constant support with Ozzy.

"It means so much to him, you have no idea. All I can do is apologise that we won't be there and I'm apologising to the people we've let down from my heart. So god bless you all. Thank you so much."
