Our Yorkshire Farm star Reuben Owen discovered a tragic family story as he explored France with his girlfriend, Sarah Dow.
The 20-year-old starred alongside his family in Channel 5's Our Yorkshire Farm from 2018 to 2022, and now has his own farming series, Life in the Dales.
The latest episode saw him and Dow planning an upcoming trip to France as they prepared to take a break from farming duties.
Owen and Dow grew up together in Ravenseat and had lots in common with their agricultural upbringings.
The pair are now officially a couple and Dow assists Owen in his debut solo series, which also airs on Channel 5.
While last week's episode saw the pair browsing translation books to get to grips with the new language ahead of their trip across the Channel, it seems they end up finding something Owen couldn't have prepared for.

In a preview for the upcoming instalment, Owen asks his partner: "Looking forward to France?"
"Yeah, I think it will be quite cool, something different," Dow replies before the pair reflect on their shared love for the English countryside.
"It will have to be pretty beautiful to be more beautiful than here," Owen admits as the teaser clip continues.
"It’ll be warmer, but I don’t think it will be more beautiful," Dow admits.
Later, it seems the young farmer makes a huge family discovery while in France.
Visiting a cemetery, it appears Owen finds the grave of a family member who lost his life fighting in the war.
"He came across here on his first trip, had to fight and died," Owen reflects in the clip as he takes a moment to acknowledge his relative's sacrifice.
The full episode showing the touching moment airs in the next episode of the series on Thursday.
