The actor who played Mickey Pearce in the beloved sitcom took to social media to vent his fury
Actor Patrick Murray, 66, had to storm out of the hospital earlier this week after being left waiting for over 10 hours, he's claimed.
The actor played Mickey Pearce in the BBC's Only Fools and Horses and has built up quite the fanbase online to whom he vented his story to.
Murray took to Twitter where he penned in a furious post: "Ten hours waiting in A&E is unacceptable.
"I gave up and went home," he fumed before he decided to point out he blamed the system, not the staff.
He added: "The workers are wonderful, but the system is seriously flawed.
"The NHS needs fixing, not hollow promises," he concluded.

The reception he received was mainly positive but Murray did have to hit back at one Twitter user who suggested: "If you're well enough to give up and go home maybe you didn't need to be there in the first place."
The Only Fools star raged: "Is that so. Are you for real? Troll."
Others, however, were quick to send their well wishes Murray's way after the ordeal.
One fan replied: "Hope you are ok. There is a huge flaw in the NHS. Going through something big with my father in law. Best wishes."
A second echoed: "Hope you feel better soon Patrick. Totallt agree the service is on its knees with fab staff doing their best."
While a third weighed in: "Hope your ok. Ten hours is a joke but I'm not surprised."
And a fourth tweeted: "I'm sorry to hear this, the nhs is broken I'm afraid. A nurse of 27 years, it's so hard to say but it is. Hope you're ok maybe try community services GP. Sending hugs xx." (sic)
Murray's latest complaint comes four months after he revealed his cancer had returned after being given the all-clear for lung cancer last year.
The cancer had spread to the actor's pelvis and legs as well as entering his lymphatic system, he said in another online post.
However, in the update from April, he did reveal he was taking steps to try and remedy the disease.

He added: "What about the good news? I had radiology treatment last week and my oncologist is fairly confident this will stop the leg pain, and I will be up and about again.
"Another positive is my consultant. He is confident that the chemo will keep things in check for months and even years.
"His optimism comes not from kindness of which I know he has in spades, but advances in cancer medicine. The genetic molecular tests are super precise, and the choice of meds can be made with much more confidence.
"I am feeling positive with my good wife's awesome support," he signed off back in April.
Murray made his first appearance as Mickey Pearce in the third series of the BBC sitcom and went on to make 20 appearance on-screen between the years of 1983 and 2003.
