Josie admitted she thought it would ‘taste rank’

Nigel Farage has waded into a camp row between Fred and Josie after an unfortunate cooking mishap during ITV's I'm a Celeb.

The row between the pair erupted after Josie opted to try and make bean fritters for lunch in camp.

Offering up her unappetising culinary creation clumped high on a wooden spoon, Josie’s cooking project quickly took a turn.

Members of the camp stared blankly as Josie attempted to make the fritters with ingredients available - these being nothing but beans and oil.

Fred told the Bush Telegraph: “She’s got no eggs, she’s got no flour, nothing but beans and oil… but I have stopped advising, I have stopped saying anything, I’m just going with the flow.

“Go on Josie, have fun.”

As she started Josie found they didn’t fry like fritters and said: “Mission abort. Mission abort.”

Fred added in the Bush Telegraph: “Very quickly, obviously, she said, ‘I’m aborting the mission’. No s*** Sherlock.”

Josie admitted: “I think it’s going to taste rank.”

Nick said: “It looks like a bean mash that’s just sort of semi-fried. We’ve got to give it a go.”

Nick laughed in the Bush Telegraph: “You learn a lot of things through failure.”

Wading into the drama, Nigel chimed in: “It was a near fritter.”

The row comes after Frankie Dettori was the first star to leave the show.

Dettori seemed to have no hard feelings about leaving first as he told Ant and Dec over a glass of bubbly: “It's been so surreal, what an adventure. It really hit me when we got the letters. You forget there is a world out there and people are out there watching you.

“Emotions are up and down, I have been dieting for 30 years but this takes it to another level.

“You just need some fuel in your stomach, you feel your body shutting down. So every time you get the rice it puts you back up. It has been challenging, I will be honest with you.”

With Dettori now voted out and Jamie Lynn Spears and Grace Dent withdrawing from the show, just nine celebs remain.

GB News' very own Farage remains in the running and there are a number of ways you can show your support and vote to keep him in the jungle here.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues Tuesday 5th December at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX
