The race to be the next Bond has taken another turn as breakout star Harris Dickinson, 28, has emerged as a new frontrunner to take on the role.
Speculation has intensified since longtime Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson handed full creative control of the franchise to Amazon MGM Studios.
Under the new joint venture announced last week Wilson and Broccoli will share co-ownership of the James Bond intellectual property rights with the streaming giant.

"Since his theatrical introduction over 60 years ago, James Bond has been one of the most iconic characters in filmed entertainment... We are honoured to continue this treasured heritage," Hopkins said.
Following the announcement, Amazon boss Jeff Bezos asked his followers on X: "Who'd you pick as the next Bond?"
As expected, his replies were flooded with suggestions continuing the flurry of speculation of who will replace Daniel Craig.

New data from Betfred’s Robert Ford suggests that Babygirl star Harris Dickinson has now emerged as a strong favourite to succeed him.
"The 28-year-old already has a very impressive portfolio of work and has received critical acclaim for his acting alongside Nicole Kidman," Ford wrote.
The actor also received plaudits for his performances in Beach Rats, Triangle of Sadness and The Iron Claw.
Adding fuel to the speculation, Ford observed that Dickinson’s list is upcoming projects is surprisingly sparse for someone with such "immense stare appeal".

He postulated that the gap may suggest the 28-year-old is preparing to take on the coveted role.
To that end, Betfred gives Dickinson 4/1 odds, or a 20 per cent probability, of being the next Bond.
The star has rapidly gained on previous front runners: Bullet Train star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Happy Valley villain James Norton and one-half of Challengers love triangle Josh O'Connor.
All three hold a 3/1, or 25 per cent probability, of taking their vodka martini’s shaken not stirred – only marginally ahead of Dickinson.
Dickinson has shot up in the rankings on the back of his starring role in Babygirl – where he plays a young intern engaged in a steamy love affair with a high-powered CEO played by Nicole Kidman. he plays a young intern engaged in a steamy love affair with a high-powered CEO played by Nicole Kidman.
