The star left some viewers at home furious over his antics in the house

Celebrity Big Brother has faced a series of Ofcom complaints during the first week of its return to ITV – with the majority of those lodged aimed at Mickey Rourke.

During launch night, Rourke caused a stir just seconds after he stepped onto the platform as he left viewers in shock with his “vile” behaviour.

Greeting host Will Best, Rourke quickly turned to co-host AJ Odudu, looked her up and down before offering his hand, twirling her around and slamming her body into his.

The star attempted to engage in a conversation with him, however, Rourke continued to look her up and down and stare at her backside until she was forced to tell him: “Stop looking at me!”

As Odudu and Best tried to get Rourke inside the house, he remained in his place and told the former Strictly star: “I wanna stay with you.”

Best then took matters into his own hands and physically escorted him down the platform toward the doors, ensuring he made it into the house.

Odudu laughed off the moment and took his behaviour in her stride as the cameras rolled – before addressing the incident on Big Brother’s sister show – Late and Live.

Guest Alan Carr commented: "Can we talk about Mickey Rourke looking at you? Wow, his eyes. Find someone who looks at you the way Mickey looks at you. His tongue was hanging out."

Odudu responded to the incident with humour: "It literally was. I was like, 'You can't afford these feathers, Mickey, no!”

Despite Odudu attempting to laugh off the incident, the studio booed the moment and left many watching at home to complain to Ofcom.

Ofcom’s weekly complaints report has recently revealed that the show has received 89 complaints for its debut episode, sparked by Rourke’s actions.

Speaking to the Mirror, a representative of Ofcom confirmed: “The majority of complaints related to Mickey Rourke’s behaviour towards AJ Odudu.”

Before the episode finished, fans predicted what the Ofcom report would say and vowed to make complaints, as one penned on X: “Well… Mickey’s just landed himself some Ofcom complaints.”

A second raged: “@Ofcom @bbuk Mickey Rourke should be removed. Disgusting pervert.”

Another person added: “@Ofcom you need to investigate This kind of Behaviour from Any Celebrity Get Michael Rourke Removed from the CBB House for Inappropriately Touchy Behaviour Towards AJ Odudu."

Since his entry into the house, the Hollywood actor has caused chaos on multiple occasions and left fans very divided by his intentions.

Donna Preston

Rourke left JoJo Siwa in tears after he made homophobic comments toward her – including “I’ll vote the lesbian out first” and referring to her as a f*g.

He later left Donna Preston stunned when he “weight-shamed” her whilst she was wearing her LED face mask – telling the comedian “you are what you eat”.

The 72-year-old went on to unknowingly offend Patsy Palmer after he complained about the food being made for them – without knowing she had been cooking for everyone.

During last night’s episode, Rourke broke a key rule within the Big Brother house after he protested against nominating anyone for the public vote as he didn’t “want to upset anyone”.
