Michael Mosley tragically took steps to follow NHS advice before he died in the Greek island of Symi last week.
The beloved TV doctor, 67, vanished during a walk on the island last Wednesday before wife Clare raised the alarm and a huge search followed.
Mosely was sadly found dead on Sunday and was tragically very close to safety.
It's since been confirmed he died of natural causes, and it's now thought Mosley had chosen to lie down with his legs raised on a rock, which the NHS advises to prevent fainting and potentially falling.
The father-of-four was found in a shaded area by a wall following a lengthy walk and was agonisingly close to the safety of the beach when he died.
Greek police spokeswoman Konstantia Dimoglidou said that an initial post-mortem examination found no signs of injury on Mosley's body.

He set off for a walk at around 1.30pm on Wednesday, and the estimated time of death of the health expert has been given at 4pm on the same day.
On Monday, a bar close to the area is said to have captured Mosley's fall as he navigated a treacherous incline.
His fall was out of the camera range. The footage has been seen by PA and local journalists in Greece.
Heartbreakingly, an exact cause of death can't be determined. Speaking to GB News, Greek Journalist Daphne Tolis revealed that having spoken to the coroner's office, they have stated that following the post-mortem, an exact cause of death "cannot be specified".

Mosley's widow Clare issued a moving statement on Sunday which read: "I don’t know quite where to begin with this. It’s devastating to have lost Michael, my wonderful, funny, kind and brilliant husband.
"We had an incredibly lucky life together. We loved each other very much and were so happy together,
"I am incredibly proud of our children, their resilience and support over the past days.
"My family and I have been hugely comforted by the outpouring of love from people from around the world. It’s clear that Michael meant a huge amount to so many of you.

"We’re taking comfort in the fact that he so very nearly made it. He did an incredible climb, took the wrong route and collapsed where he couldn’t be easily seen by the extensive search team."
The statement continued: "Michael was an adventurous man, it’s part of what made him so special.
"We are so grateful to the extraordinary people on Symi who have worked tirelessly to help find him. Some of these people on the island, who hadn’t even heard of Michael, worked from dawn till dusk unasked.
"We’re also very grateful to the press who have dealt with us with great respect. I feel so lucky to have our children and my amazing friends. Most of all, I feel so lucky to have had this life with Michael."
