Michael McIntyre has been met with floods of supportive messages as he was forced to cancel a gig with just 24 hours notice.
The comedian is currently touring his Magnificent show up and down the country but fans in Southampton will have to rearrange.
He was set to perform at the Mayflower Theatre on March 4 but a member of McIntyre's team shared a statement on social media confirming the postponement.
Shared to his X, formerly Twitter page, the statement read: "We regret to inform customers that Michael McIntyre will be unable to perform on Monday 4 March at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton."
Delving into the health woe that has hit McIntyre, the post continued: "Unfortunately, Michael has had an operation to remove kidney stones.
"The show will be rescheduled to a later date which will be announced shortly. Tickets will remain valid for the new date.

A second weighed in: "Omg the pain is indescribable. Feel better Michael and looking forward to seeing you soon xxx."
"I know that pain, horrendous, hope Michael gets well soon," a third added before a fourth commented: "Ooh that would have been painful! Get well soon."
However, others were keen for more clarity as this is the second gig McIntyre has had to cancel at short notice.
One person replied: "Does this mean future shows will be cancelled to allow for a full recovery? If so, can that period of recovery be announced ASAP rather than leave it to a day or two before cancelling."
