Michael J Fox has been married to his wife Tracy Pollan for 35 years and share four children
Michael J Fox's wife Tracy Pollan shared a sweet Father's Day tribute to her Hollywood star husband on her social media amid his ongoing battle with Parkinson's.
Fox and Pollan share their three daughters Aquinnah Kathleen Fox, Schuyler Frances Fox, and Esmé Annabelle Fox along with their son Sam Michael Fox, but often keep their family life out of the spotlight.
Pollan shared a sweet snap of a young Fox and their son as a child on her Instagram account and captioned the post: "To the best in the biz, nobody does it better! Happy Father’s Day."
Fans of the Back to the Future actor were quick to jump into the comment section to also wish him a happy Fathers Day, with one noting: "He’s the best."
"Dad extraordinaire. Happy Father’s Day," another said before a third commented: "Happy Father’s Day to an icon!"
Someone else said: "He is a Wonderful human and an incredible inspiration on how to never give up, your children are lucky to have him as a Father."
The rare snap comes after Pollan recently celebrated her daughters - Schuyler and Esmé's - achievement of running the Brooklyn Half Marathon, posting a gushing snap of them.
She commented: "Could not be more proud of these two! You did it!" alongside a series of images, with Fox later posting the same image and noting how "proud" he was of his daughters. (sic)
Fox previously opened up to Good Housekeeping about his battle with Parkinson's and revealed how his family had always been his biggest champions, stepping up when it comes to advocating for the disease.
"We'll go up to the country. And it's not unusual to make popcorn and then for all six of us to climb into bed and watch TV — just bodies everywhere. We are a really affectionate family, and we laugh a lot.
Tracy shared her daughters recent milestones
"And you know, with Parkinson's, my kids just make the transition. If I am reaching for something, they will just do it and carry on.
"Again, people say to me, 'How do you cope?' And I think, 'Cope?!' It's really hard to even think that way. Sometimes I'll stop and think, 'Am I selling short the experience my family is having?' But then I'll look back at it and say, 'no — they're having fun'."
In another interview with Reader's Digest, he shared his parenting advice and noted: "Always be available to your kids. Because if you say, 'Give me five minutes, give me 10 minutes,' it'll be 15, it'll be 20.
"And then when you get there, the shine will have worn off whatever it is they wanted to share with you."

Fox was recently questioned about a speech he made back in 2022 when being with an honorary Oscar by Woody Harrelson and commented that some "damage" from his early years could have led to Parkinson's disease.
Speaking to Jane Pauley, he said: "We did some damage. We did some damage in the '80s. I mean, there’s so many ways that you can … that I could’ve hurt myself.
"I could’ve hit my head. I could’ve drank too much at a certain developmental period."
