The singer was rushed to hospital with a mysterious heart condition
The Wanted singer Max George has been discharged from hospital on Christmas Eve following emergency heart surgery.
The 36-year-old pop star, who recently had a pacemaker fitted, was able to return home after spending time in hospital due to an undiagnosed heart condition.
George had been forced to seek medical attention earlier this month when his condition worsened, requiring urgent cardiac intervention.
The boyband member shared the news of his discharge in a video from his hospital bed, marking a positive end to his medical ordeal just in time for the festive season.
In his update from the hospital, George described his current condition, saying: "The numbers are way better. I feel knackered, slept a lot today."
The singer admitted to feeling "battered and bruised" as he prepared to leave hospital.

His discharge comes after what he previously described as a two-and-a-half-hour operation to fit the pacemaker.
"All good, bit battered and bruised and knackered," he told followers in his video message, giving a thumbs up to the camera despite his fatigue.
Despite being discharged, George revealed he still faces some additional medical tests in the coming weeks.
"Few more tests to do over the next couple of weeks, something to do with my lungs," he explained in his hospital update.
The singer appeared to remain positive about the situation, adding that this was "the least of my worries right now".
The lung issue was discovered during his hospital stay, with doctors noting inflamed lymph nodes that require further investigation.
However, George maintained an optimistic outlook, focusing primarily on his recovery from the heart surgery.
The singer had earlier described the pacemaker surgery as "the best Christmas present I could've ever wished for".
In a touching detail, George revealed the medical team had placed the pacemaker beneath his tattoo bearing the date "04.08.1988" - the birthdate of his late bandmate Tom Parker.
The surgery proved more complex than anticipated, with George explaining: "The main issue being some of my veins had collapsed where the wires were meant to go."
