Masterchef fans were left furious on Thursday night after five former contestants were given the chance to try their luck one more time in the kitchen for a place in the quarter-final.
Tonight, the first request from John Torode and Gregg Wallace was for them to supply a main course and dessert that prove they have learned from past mistakes.
The second round saw the comeback crew having to design a street food gem to set socials alight and leave people queuing for more.
The show's guest taster was MasterChef: The Professionals 2019 champion Stuart Deeley, who was keen to see how the former contestants took on their previous advice and applied it to their second time round.
However, many viewers at home thought that the comeback week was unfair and saw a lack of ideas from the producers of the show, taking their annoyance to their social media accounts.
One fan complained on X: "And now on @BBCOne, another edition of #MasterChef Sloppy Seconds."

"Oh hell, it's more rejects #Masterchef," another added before a third noted: "I say they’re struggling for contestants! #MasterChef."
One viewer expressed: "I don’t like these ‘come back’ shows. Did they not have enough applicants this year or something?"
"They're struggling for contestants that's why they've brought them back still wrong though!" a fifth penned before a sixth added: "Getting to the semi-final and then being invited back isn't really a second chance is it - these people have had their moment, should just stick to the new contestant." (sic)
Wallace praised the contestants for their performances and noted: "For two rounds you have been nothing short of phenomenal. Very, very well done, all five of you."

"Linda, Tigi - thank you so very much. It has been an absolute pleasure having you back."
Touching on their joy of making it through to the quarterfinal, Cliodhna noted: "MasterChef quarterfinalist - I can't believe it."
