The series delves into the behind-the-scenes lives of the wives and girlfriends of some of the world's biggest football stars

Married to the Game series two launches today, and will follow a group of wives and girlfriends of leading premiership footballers.

The series features Gabrielle Figueiredo, Cat Harding, Stephanie Hope, Claudia Rodriguez and Taylor Ward as they juggle motherhood with their own careers and social media audience, as well as supporting their partners’ all-consuming careers.

Speaking to GB News and other press, Stephanie Hope, who is in a relationship with Aston Villa Midfielder's Leon Bailey, admitted all the footballers on the show "lack" in areas at home, which is something that has brought the cast together.

Speaking after watching the first episode, she explained: "It was good to see that we all can agree that our partners lack in certain areas..."

"I think the five of us are all different, but then we have a lot of similar things in our lives, so it's great to see."

Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhães' girlfriend Gabrielle Figueiredo added: "I think the same.

"It's fun that we can share the same reality, but at the same time, very different.

"And I am anxious but happy to see the results for the girls and myself."

The first episode of series two sees Ward and Hope in particular struggling with their husbands' lack of interest in helping out at home and with their families.

Elsewhere, Rodriguez also got candid as she talked about her son's autism diagnosis.

Cucurella, 26, has been in a relationship with 25-year-old Rodriguez since 2018.

They share three children: Mateo, Rio, and Bella. Their first-born Mateo, four, was recently diagnosed with autism, which is explored in the upcoming series.

"It was a bit difficult to understand what was happening to Mateo," she admitted when asked about her son's autism.

"You need a lot of time, you have to visit a lot of doctors, and you have to find a problem to find a solution.

"And after that, you have to be a team with your partner. It's so difficult for the couple, it's very difficult.
