Maisie Smith has broken her silence after her boyfriend, The Wanted star Max George, was hospitalised last week.
The former EastEnders star has been in a relationship with the singer since 2022, and the past week has seen George, 36, updating fans during his lengthy stint in hospital following a medical emergency.
George was recently given a diagnosis and shared his was suffering a from a 2:1 atrioventricular block, with the news coming days after the former band member was rushed to hospital.
He provided a fresh update on Monday, revealing he may be out of hospital in time for Christmas as surgery would need to happen sooner rather than later.
On Wednesday, actress and former Strictly Come Dancing star Smith, 23, shared her own update on her beau on social media with a touching post.
Smith hasn't said much publicly about the frightening ordeal but shared a sweet snap of her holding George's hand as he lay on his hospital bed.
She penned on the Instagram post: "Got to see my wonderful man today. Proud of you @maxgeorge."
The Tiffany Butcher star didn't provide many details but the update indicates George remains under medical care.
Earlier this week, George updated his social media followers with a series of photos taken from his hospital bed, in which he appeared in good spirits, George penned on Instagram: "Had a little day trip today. Full cat scan on my heart. Not something I’d choose to do again!
"As I mentioned yesterday, I have a 2:1 block in my heart. Unfortunately my heart rate hasn’t picked up at all in almost a week."Because of this, we don’t have too much time to wait so it looks like I'm going to be in surgery way quicker than the doctors first thought. I may even be home for Christmas!"

While he seemed glad at the prospect of being home for the big day, the singer was understandably worried.
"Still a pretty scary time right now and the last few nights have been really rough, but I wanted to say that I’m absolutely humbled by all your messages of support," he continued.
Sharing his appreciation for fans and friends, he signed off: "Both people I know and those I don’t.
"It’s given me a much needed boost and my family have been overwhelmed with support, which means more to me than anything." (sic)
George initially shared on social media that he'd been rushed to hospital last Wednesday after falling ill.
He explained the issue was with his heart, and on Sunday confirmed that doctors had discovered the block and that he'd need a pacemaker fitted.

Smith and George have reportedly been dating for two years, with the pair having met when they both starred on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing in 2020.
During the early days of their relationship, a source told The Sun: "They were all over each other. This isn’t a flash in the pan. Max has told people that he is falling in love with Maisie."
Confirming their relationship, the couple made an appearance together in ITV's Loose Women in the summer of 2022.
"Speculation drove that more than we would have at the start, but once it was out there, we do everything out here, it was kind of like it’s out there," George explained.
