Lucy Beaumont is thought to be planning to join the first series of Celebrity Traitors as she looks to relaunch her career following her split from Jon Richardson.
The comedian has maintained a low profile since the couple announced their separation last year, but now sources suggest she is keen to return to television after the breakdown of her marriage.
The opportunity could provide a significant career boost for Beaumont, who previously starred alongside Richardson in their own show, Meet the Richardsons.
Celebrity Traitors is attracting an impressive lineup of famous faces alongside Beaumont, including Kate Garraway, who was recently linked to the show.
Other rumoured participants include rugby star Joe Marler, Stephen Fry, Tom Daley, Clare Balding and broadcaster Robert Peston.
Comedy stars Alan Carr and Jennifer Saunders are also said to be in contention for places on the show.

TV bosses believe Lucy would be a good fit among this star-studded cast, with a source telling The Sun: “Lucy is a massive fan of the show and is so excited about getting stuck in at Ardross Castle.
“After her split from Jon, she has been working really hard to make more of a name for herself, and Celebrity Traitors is the ideal opportunity.”
The programme, known for its treachery and drama, could provide the perfect platform for Beaumont's television comeback.
Beaumont and Richardson’s split came as a shock to fans when they announced it last year, with the pair releasing a joint statement.

It read: "We have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways."
The couple emphasised that their priority was managing the transition for their daughter.
Beaumont broke her silence on the split in September, telling OK! Magazine, they had agreed not to discuss their marriage.
She also mentioned adopting a new approach to life in her forties, saying she's "a bit angrier and not willing to take any s**t from anyone."
Meanwhile, Richardson has been making his own career changes since the split and recently announced he was taking a break from stand-up comedy.
In a social media update, he revealed he had accepted a teaching position, which later turned out to be his announcement for joining the BBC series Waterloo Road.
Richardson shared that he had found a diary entry from 1997 where, at age 14, he wrote that while he would love to be a comedian, he'dprobably end up teaching.
He told followers: "I've been doing some training, I've taken a teaching position. I will update you as and when I can." (sic)
