A close friend of ITV I’m a Celebrity contestant Coleen Rooney has called on the show’s producers to “do more” for her pal.
Lizzie Cundy, 56, became friends with Rooney through their footballers husbands – Wayne Rooney and Jason Cundy.
Cundy parted with Jason in 2012 but has remained friends with Rooney since.
Rooney has quickly become a fan favourite on the ITV programme, recently securing all the available stars in Tuesday’s Bushtucker Trial.
The 38-year-old faced the The Farmyard of Fear with Coronation Street star Alan Halsall where both excelled.
Yet, it was the more candid moments Rooney shared with her Campmates that Cundy has most praise for.

“There's so much more to Coleen than just a court case,” the 56-year-old added.
The case Cundy was referring to was the widely reported “Wagatha Christie” legal case a feud between Rooney and fellow Wag Rebekah Vardy.

Cundy was pleased Rooney’s “really soft girl” side was emerging from the “strong face” she had to show during the "Wagatha Christie stuff”.
Rooney’s entrance to the jungle was followed by speculation on the feud, as Vardy had taken on the jungle in 2017.
Vardy, who was hired by The Sun as a columnist to cover Rooney’s time, has since been scathing of her rival and hosts Ant and Dec.
The jungle’s other campmates have also been excited to discuss the infamous case with Rooney.
Before entering the jungle late, Maura Higgins expressed her excitement of getting to meet Rooney.
