Riley Keough, daughter of the late Lisa Marie Presley, has shared intimate details about her mother's private mourning for Elvis Presley in an upcoming Oprah Winfrey special.

The actress revealed that Lisa Marie would often listen to her father's music alone, crying on the floor of her room.

"Her grief was very.... I don't think she knew how to process it," Keough told Winfrey in a clip from An Oprah Special: The Presleys — Elvis, Lisa Marie and Riley.

The 35-year-old star described witnessing her mother's emotional state, saying: "Yes, I would walk in her room and she had speakers — because this was back in the day — and she would be sitting on the floor crying and she'd listen to her dad's music."

Keough further elaborated on her mother's private grieving process and added: "It was a very private thing for her. She would listen to his music alone, if she was drunk, and cry."

The revelations come as part of a wider discussion about Lisa Marie's life and her relationship with her famous father.

Lisa Marie, who was only nine years old at the time, reportedly woke up feeling that something was not right.

Keough also shared a poignant detail from her mother's childhood and revealed a letter written by a young Lisa Marie expressing hope that her father wouldn't die.
