Lisa Hogan has opened up about the latest series of the Amazon Prime series and expressed how proud she is of co-star and colleague Kaleb Cooper after receiving a promotion.
Jeremy Clarkson, Hogan and Cooper have worked on the Diddly Squat farm together since Clarkson took over the running of the business in 2019 and they have faced their fair share of challenges along the way.
Throughout the previous two series, Cooper has followed Clarkson around as he barks his orders to get the farm into shape, but more often than not, it's Cooper who has the right answers.
During the new series, after his years of hard work and proving invaluable as Clarkson's right-hand man, he receives a well-deserved promotion.
In the first episode, Diddly Squat returns in turmoil as the council has shut down the restaurant, and the farm has been through the driest summer in 87 years which has meant getting the seeds in the ground to grow was impossible.
Clarkson knew he needed to formulate a new plan to get his farm through the year and a walk through some of his unused farmland provided just the inspiration he needed.

Realising he could use the 500 acres he previously left to the wild to help turn a profit, it dawned on Clarkson that Cooper could run the actual farming side of the business by the Top Gear mulled over ways to turn unfarmed land into a profitable enterprise.
His new role saw Cooper take charge of the more traditionally farmed areas and it's left Hogan more than impressed with the way he stepped up and took on the role.
Speaking ahead of the series of Cooper's promotion, Hogan said: "He knows the farm back to front so that was a natural progression for him.
"He knew exactly what to put in and where. He’s so lovely, Kaleb, he's so genuine. I’m really proud of him."

Noting that he hadn't let the new role go to his head, she added: "He’s an entrepreneur. This is another job for him. He has his contracting business, he has his tour, he works for Jeremy, and he appears on the show.
"It’s just one more thing he does. It's about being a businessman more than it is about being a starlet."
The heartfelt move from Clarkson could be seen as showing his softer side, something that Hogan noted was because of Clarkson becoming a man of the land rather than the road.
She explained: "Whatever you think, it's an emotional job. You know, let's talk about the weather: Yesterday was beautiful, everything turned green here, and hopefully, it’ll stay green until the crops are taken in.

"But when it's raining and raining and raining, you get frustrated as you just want to get on with the job at hand.
"Every day it's emotional whether it's really happy because the weather is perfect and you can get on with the job at hand or it’s miserable if it’s raining the crops are failing and you can’t do a thing.
"It’s very difficult to be unemotional about it. So, yes, I don’t want to go against what he’s said but I definitely think he’s becoming more a man of the land than a man of the road."
Despite the series seeing a ton of joyful and calamitous moments, the team also suffers fresh heartbreak, as Clarkson and Hogan are unable to cope with the deaths of their new flock of pigs and piglets.
