The One Direction star was planning on releasing his second album earlier this year

Liam Payne reportedly wrote about feeling like he had “no way out” in his second album which was delayed at the beginning of the year – with songs which would detail the “story of his life”.

The One Direction star – aged 31 – tragically died earlier this week after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

It was reported that police were called to the hotel after reports came in of a "man acting aggressively at the hotel who could be under the effect of drink or drugs".

It's believed that Payne fell from around 13 or 14 metres and suffered "very serious injuries incompatible with life."

Earlier this year, Payne was set to release his second album which was later delayed, before the star was dropped by his record label.

It has been reported by other guests at the hotel that the dad-of-one smashed his laptop to the ground before falling to his death.

Reports claim that the diary-like album was hit by a string of delays after Paynewas admitted to hospital twice with kidney problems.

According to the Sun, one of the unreleased tracks features the lyrics: "Everyone is talking. I can’t process this now, I got no way out, no way out.

“I still got a heavy weight on my back. Wish that I could brush it off just like that.”

A source told the publication: "Liam was always working on songs on his laptop and was in the process of setting up a home studio in Miami but the record was essentially done.

“Most of the tracks were heard by the label and played to his team. Lyrically it’s heavy but Liam was really proud of it and was keen to open up so others going through similar things didn’t feel alone.”

The Strip That Down singer previously opened up about the album back in March and said: “Every one of these songs is a story from my life.

“For the first time, you really get a picture of what it was like for me each day of making this record like this. This album is literally this last year for me, how I was feeling on those days is each record."

According to the Daily Mail, Payne was axed by his record label in the days preceding his death, with a source telling the publication: “Liam's advance was massive and he didn't recoup [it].

“Out of all of the One Direction boys, Liam was on the wrong path musically.”

It was reported earlier this month that Liam's manager Roger left his role earlier this year, with a source telling The Sun at the time: “Liam had been doing really well on his second album.

“But now it's completely on pause. Liam is telling people now he has no idea if it'll ever be released."
