Liam Payne fans were left emotional after tuning into the Grammy Awards on Sunday as the One Direction star was remembered with a touching tribute.
The One Direction singer died in October at the age of 31 following a tragic fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, and the star-studded event included him in its annual In Memoriam section.
The segment honoured famous faces who had died in the last year, with Payne's image included in the emotional reel.
The Strip That Down hit-maker could be seen smiling in the touching photo, which immediately tugged on fans' heartstrings.
Viewers took to social media to express how they had been deeply moved by the poignant reminder of the tragedy.
"Wasn't ready for this Liam Payne tribute #grammys," one shared on X.

"Ah, Liam’s tribute was beautiful!" another posted, with someone else adding: "Catching up on the #GRAMMYs and seeing the tribute to the 'Singer, Songwriter' Liam.
"I'm glad they included the songwriting also, he was so important to the success of One Direction for many reasons. I just wish he was recognised for his contributions while he was still here."

Fresh updates about Payne's death are still emerging, with confirmation coming last month that the father-of-one's medical cause of death ruled as "polytrauma" in a UK inquest opening.
The singer and entertainer was formally identified with the assistance of funeral directors in Buckinghamshire.
Five people have been charged over Payne's death after he fell from a third-floor balcony of the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The hearing, which was held at Buckinghamshire Coroner's Court on December 17, was told it may take "some time" to ascertain how the 31-year-old died.
Dr Roberto Victor Cohen confirmed the cause as polytrauma, which refers to multiple traumatic injuries.
