Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin have left several fans disheartened despite sharing the exciting news they will be reuniting for a new venture post-Strictly Come Dancing.
The 29-year-old actor and his dance partner made it all the way to the Strictly finale and even topped the leaderboard during Saturday's spectacle.
Unfortunately for them, Ellie Leach proved the bookmakers were right with their heavy backing of the soap star as she lifted the Glitterball Trophy alongside Vito Coppola.
Williams' time on the show earned him a new legion of fans - although he had to deal with his fair share of controversy along the way.
From feud rumours with head judge Shirley Ballas to being embroiled in social media spats with "so-called" Strictly fans, Williams emerged from this year's competition as one of the show's most talked-about stars.
And in 2024, Williams and Kuzmin will be able to meet their fans in the flesh as they've joined forces to launch their very own dance class.
Layton and Nikita pulled out all the stops in the Strictly finale

In an announcement with Pros from the Shows, 'Dance with Lakita' offers fans the chance to take part in a dance workshop with the Strictly duo.
The pair are holding their new work project in Birmingham on Saturday, January 20 where two workshops will take place.
Tickets are £50 a pop - with the company stating it includes a donation to charity - and the age ranges for the workshops vary from seven to 12 years old for one class, and 13-21 for the second.
While some fans were delighted to hear that their favourite Strictly pair were reuniting, others were disheartened by the criteria they'd have to meet to take part.

Flocking to the comments of the Pros from the Shows announcement, one follower said: "So gutted it's not for anyone over 21. I'm old with no dance experience but this would be a dream. How about a meet and greet for us olders?"
"You need to do Adults please," a second begged while a third pleaded: "Does someone want to lend me a child so I can go?!?! only 22 years too old for this."
A fourth echoed: "Excuse me wonderful Lakita you need to make it a grown up thing pretty please."
"Can you slightly adjust the age criteria??" a fifth asked while another commented: "Fantastic guys…I hope you open it up to all ages, we would love to see you perform."
