Channel 4 presenter Kirstie Allsopp required medical help earlier this week after enduring the "scariest moment" of her life following a fall during filming.
The Location, Location, Location star revealed she'd managed to avoid any broken bones but is still "battered and bruised" as a result.
Allsopp has also had to withdraw from filming the new episodes of the Channel 4 show for the time being but did confirm co-star Phil Spencer is taking the reins.
The 52-year-old revealed all in a lengthy clip shared to her Instagram on Wednesday as she explained: "Today is Wednesday and it's a working day and I should be out filming Location, Location, Location.
"Except yesterday when we were in a pub in Stoke Newington filming our start of day chat with our lovely house hunters, Beth and Rory, I went off to the loo and unfortunately I got something wrong and I ended up falling down an entire flight of stairs."
Recalling the horror, she continued: "It was, I think, probably without doubt, the scariest and most painful thing I have ever done in my life.

"And I feel immensely blessed to be lying here in bed not having broken anything.
"I'm bruised and battered and I had an X-ray and SCT scan and I've been looked over by a lovely doctor called Sean Malloy.
"And I wanted to say a thank you to the lovely Sean and Ben, who were the paramedics who came and scoot me off the floor of the pub where I was lying because everyone was like, 'Lie still, lie still'."
Allsopp went on to reel off a list of people she wanted to apologise too following the accident, including the show's crew and guests.
"Luckily Phil, bless him, is stepping into the breach, and on Friday he's going to show Beth and Rory the properties that we had lined up," Allsopp confirmed.
However, ever the optimist, Allsopp added that she was still hoping to help out as she detailed: "And hopefully if I'm feeling up to it...
"They're going to FaceTime me and I'm going to comment on the properties and give them the benefit of my advice from bed."
Allsopp went on: "So I'm either flat on my back or walking around - sitting or going in the car is out of the question at the moment."
Luckily, Allsopp was able to reflect on the incident and even described it as having a "comic element to it".
"When I was lying with my dress around my waist on the pub floor by the toilets which I had been heading to, I did think, 'Oh my God, there is a comic element to it'," she chuckled.
Allsopp went on to thank those around her who helped her in her time of need before also revealing she'd had to postpone filming for Love It or List It as well.

Spencer will be filling the void left by Allsopp just weeks after he returned to filming following the death of his parents.
The presenter's mother and father were involved in a car accident near their home in which the vehicle ended up in a river.
Spencer remained in positive spirits as he joined Allsopp in a clip shared from the set of Location, Location, Location earlier this month following his parents' funeral.
