Katya Jones sparks BBC Strictly QUIT fears as pals speak out after dancer 'betrayed' by Wynne Evans tour axe

Strictly Come Dancing professional Katya Jones could be set to quit the BBC show after reportedly feeling "betrayed" by the handling of Wynne Evans' departure from the live tour.
The 35-year-old dancer is said to be deeply upset about the treatment of her former dance partner, who announced on Tuesday he would be taking time away from both the tour and his BBC Wales radio show.
Sources close to Jones claim she believes the situation has been "blown out of proportion" and is questioning her future on the popular dance programme.
An insider told The Sun: "Katya is really upset about what has happened and feel like it's all been blown out of proportion."
"She was shocked that bosses hauled Wynne in and feels like they have been thrown under the bus," the source added.
The insider also revealed that Jones has been "horrified by things people have been saying about Wynne" on social media.
Her friends are reportedly concerned about her growing disillusionment with the programme. "Her friends are worried this is making her fall out of love with the show and wonder if she will do it again next year. There is only so much drama she can take," the source said.
GB News has contacted the BBC and Jones' representatives for comment.
Evans announced his departure from the tour in a statement, saying: "I've agreed with the BBC that l'll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing."
The decision came after he was filmed making inappropriate sexual comments about one of the show's female hosts during a tour photocall in Birmingham.

The controversy has also affected Evans' personal life, with reports that he has separated from his girlfriend Liz Brookes, 50.
The BBC has put Evans in touch with a welfare officer, and his Strictly co-stars are reportedly rallying around him during this difficult period.
Jones has publicly defended Evans through several social media posts, urging fans to "show humanity and compassion" following his departure.
"I will miss you my darling boy," she wrote after sharing Evans' statement on her Instagram Stories.
The professional dancer later posted a biblical reference, writing: "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone."
She has continued to show support for her former partner, sharing a photo of Evans performing on the tour with the caption "Really missed this tonight."
Jones also notably unfollowed Evans' girlfriend Liz Brookes on Instagram after news of the couple's split emerged.
Jones' best friend Aimee Fuller has rushed to support her during this challenging period, according to sources.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
The situation has reportedly left Jones feeling betrayed not only by Strictly bosses but also by fans who have turned against Evans.
"On top of that she really feels that fans of the show had her back but she's been horrified by things people have been saying about Wynne," an insider told The Sun.
Despite the controversy, Evans' friends remain optimistic about his future, with one telling The Mirror: "Talk of his career ending is premature - at the end of the day, his radio show is very popular, and he is very much liked."
