Katie Price has been involved with the police on many occasions over the last couple of years

Katie Price, 46, has been issued an arrest warrant after she failed to attend a hearing relating to her bankruptcies.

The former glamour model was declared bankrupt for the second time back in March over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

Price was previously warned that she would need to attend the court to answer questions about her ongoing struggles with her finances.

She was a no-show at today's hearing - with Judge Catherine Burton issuing a warrant for her arrest.

According to The Sun, Price instead jetted off to Turkey with a friend to get more cosmetic surgery despite battling a £760,000 unpaid tax bill after being declared bankrupt for a second time in March.

The star was served an eviction notice which ordered her to leave her £2million mansion by the end of May 2024, before bailiffs swooped.

However, Price is insistent that "everything is sorted" with her financial mess and promised she would "never hit rock bottom again".

She previously told Channel 5's Jeremy Vine show: "To be honest, I'm not ashamed about the bankruptcy thing either.

"It can happen to anyone at any time, and I'm glad in a way when I look that everything's happened at once because it made me sort everything out."

Price was initially meant to give evidence back in April, however, missed the hearing due to jetting off to Cyprus with ex-boyfriend JJ Slater.

A barrister told the judge: "It's quite apparent that the evidence was filed very late and not even filed with the court.

"We are in a very serious situation as a consequence. She may be held in contempt of court, imprisoned, fined or a warrant issued for her arrest.

GB News has contacted a representative for Price for a comment.

The first time she was declared bankrupt was back in 2019 over unpaid debts of £3.2million and did not attend the short hearing for that relation either.

A court was told the bill "derives from self-assessments" for the years 2020-2021 and 2021-22 and includes income tax, VAT, surcharges and interest.

Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Sebastian Prentis told the hearing at London's Rolls Building: "There has been no response from the debtor. The papers are in order.

"There is a substantial debt due from Ms Price to HMRC and therefore I will make a bankruptcy order."
