The former glamour model has not held back as she spoke out following a warrant being issued for her arrest

Katie Price, 46, has urged her fans to ignore the media and their "bulls**t" as she recorded a video of herself on-board a plane to Turkey - hours after a warrant for her arrest was issued.

On Tuesday, Judge Catherine Burton issued a warrant for the former I'm A Celeb star's arrest after she failed to show up to a hearing relating to her bankruptcies.

Price was declared bankrupt for the second time in March this year following an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

After she failed to appear at the hearing on Tuesday, Price took to Instagram to share both a written and video statement about the news.

In a lengthy statement shared to her story, Price acknowledged the "severity of my current personal financial situation" and claimed she was "doing the best I can to rectify things during extremely challenging times".

However, she was also quick to hit out at the headlines that have emerged following her bankruptcy hearing, writing on social media: "Whilst I'm currently aware of the severity of my current personal financial situation with my ongoing bankruptcy, I am today shocked that whilst away working for a documentary on corrective surgeries that I should find myself yet again headline news.

"The media in my opinion once again are trying to cause continued humiliation to myself and family. There are far greater and more pressing issues going on around the world that are more important and I'm sure most people are bored reading stories that are constantly misrepresented.

"I have and I am continuing to to cooperate with the relevant people on matters to the best of my ability which will be addressed after my return from work.

"Despite consistent stories trying to humiliate me for my personal misfortunes, I am neither embarrassed nor ashamed. I own my situation and I am trying my best to work my way out of it and put matters right.

"I have to continue in my work in order to satisfy these bankruptcy orders which is all I am trying to do right now. I am however not running from matters and will continue to take matters with great seriousness.

"I am doing the best I can to rectify things during extremely challenging times. Once again I would like to highlight there are far greater and more newsworthy stories.

"I will continue to work on my mental health disorders for the sake of myself and my family and do the best I can."

Price followed up her written statement with a short video clip of herself on-board a jet heading to Istanbul.

She explained: "Good morning everyone. I am off to the Trio Clinic. I'm filming my new documentary.

"Again, the media have written absolute bulls**t saying the reason I'm coming here is because other surgeons have turned me down. That is absolute rubbish.

"I have not been to any other surgeon to ask them to do my face.

"The reason I've chosen the Trio Clinic is because I've had friends who've come here and had surgery and in my opinion they are the best for what I want doing.

"So don't listen again to the media, I can't wait, they're amazing, they're thorough here, so yeah... I'm on the way to do my face."
