Cooper rose to prominence as a mainstay on Clarkson's Farm since 2021

Kaleb Cooper has caused a frenzy among Clarkson’s Farm fans as he updated them on his new major project away from the world of farming.

The 26-year-old Oxfordshire farmer has garnered quite the fanbase after he became a fan-favourite as Jeremy Clarkson’s long-suffering sidekick on the hugely popular Amazon series.

Cooper has seen his life dramatically change since featuring on Clarkson’s Farm, amassing a nearly £1 million fortune through his television and farming ventures.

Before meeting the former Top Gear presenter, Cooper was earning as little as 50p an hour due to the volatile profit margins in British agriculture.

Now, the 26-year-old has revealed he is set to publish a new book later this year.

“So excited to announce I have a children’s book coming out!” Cooper wrote on Instagram.

“It’s so amazing to have so many young people asking me about farming and how to get into it. Farming to me is the best thing in the world.”

He concluded his post with the declaration: “Let’s get farming being taught in schools”.

Alongside the announcement, Cooper shared a carousel of pics showing the book against classic farming scenes.

The book was seen dwarfed by huge tractor wheels, sitting atop a scenic field gate and being sniffed by some adorable cows.

Kaleb’s Farmyard Tales: Escaping Animals and Runaway Tractors promises hilarious true stories from Cooper’s life in farming and what he has learned from the experiences.

The book, written by Cooper and illustrated by Tom Knight, is set for release in September and aimed at a five to seven-year-old audience.

The world of literature is nothing new for the 26-year-old farmer.

He's produced three other books in as many years: The World According to Kaleb (2022), Britain According to Kaleb (2023) and It's a Farming Thing (2024).

Elsewhere, Cooper's other ventures have proved extremely successful.

The 26-year-old's TV company, Kaleb Cooper Productions, has taken home £910,000 in profit. Combined with his farming businesses, the farmer’s total earnings in 2024 were £986,883, The Mirror reports.

Evidently, Clarkson judged his sidekick correctly when he called him: "A wonderful, wonderful person. The hardest working person I know."

“He doesn't have a day off either. He does 18 hours a day, every day,” the 64-year-old added.
