Later on Tuesday, it was confirmed Timberlake had been charged with DWI and was released from police custody.
His arrest comes hours after he penned a sweet tribute on his Instagram dedicated to his children, Silas, nine, and Phineas, three, with whom he shared with actress Jessica Biel.

"Now… for today: let’s play a game where we all just chill and let Dad watch the final round of The US Open.
"Cheers to all the Dads out there Dad-ing! I salute you!"
