Jonnie Irwin's widow Jessica Holmes has opened up about the first Mother's day she endured without her husband by her side.
Irwin, who died on February 2 following a four-year cancer battle, shared three sons with Holmes: Rex, five, and twins Cormac and Rafa, three.
The husband and wife duo married back in 2016 and both shared open and honest accounts about Irwin's battle with the illness before his death at the age of 50.
One month on from his death and Holmes has had to face her first Mother's Day without Irwin by her side.
She took to Instagram on Sunday to open up on how "hard" she found the experience while giving fans an update on the family's grieving process.
"We have been on a tour of houses," Holmes penned alongside a selfie with her three boys. "Celebrating the loves of my life, they are mad eggs just like me.

"Today is hard but also full of love. Thank you to everyone who opened their doors to me today," Holmes signed off.
Inevitably, it didn't take long for the mum-of-three to be flooded with support - including from several familiar faces.
Irwin's A Place in the Sun co-star Jasmine Harman replied with a series of love heart emojis while his Escape to the Country co-star Nikki Chapman said: "Love to you all," again followed by love heart emojis.
Harman's show of support comes less than 24 hours after she celebrated 20 years in TV - a milestone she would've shared with Irwin and marked with a tribute to the late APITS star.
In a touching post which included a collage of her time working with Irwin over the past two decades, Harman said: "Without him, I have not really felt like celebrating. I’ve been pretty choked up about posting anything about it, to be honest.
"I miss him. He was always full of fun and mischief, it doesn’t seem possible that he is gone.
"In Jonnie’s memory, I give you a snippet of the last 20 years. What an honour to work with someone so vibrant and fun.
"Thank you Jonnie for the memories, sending love as always to Jonnie’s family and loved ones."

As well as her Mother's Day post, Holmes had updated her fans a few weeks ago as she shed light on coming to terms with the loss of her husband.
"It still doesn’t feel real," in a post dated back to February 20. "The sadness is huge. I can’t even let myself think what another week without Jonnie will be like let alone another year another 10 years.
"I have been truly touched by all the support from friends and strangers. But nothing compares to how I have been picked up by my family and Jonnies sisters , your support and love means everything to me.
"I am loving watching the boys enjoy some days in the sun and having a change of scene is just what we needed." (sic)
