The A Place in the Sun star has wowed his followers with the latest change to his house
A Place in the Sun star Jonnie Irwin took to Instagram to provide his followers a peek at his latest home renovation.
As Irwin spends more family time at home following his terminal cancer diagnosis, his latest success story comes in the shape of transforming a previously "unused" space in his house.
Irwin impressed his fanbase after transforming the room's usual "cold" and "unused" manner into a stunning and homely spot for him and his family to relax.
The presenter knocked down a south-facing wall to allow sunlight into the room and added in a number of eye-catching features.
While a number of his followers sent their congratulatory messages, a handful of his A Place in the Sun co-stars followed suit.
Ben Hillman took to the comments of the post to praise: "Looking very tasty Jonnie boy x," followed by a congratulatory emoji.

While fellow Channel 4 presenter Jasmine Harman echoed: " Love it!" alongside a love-heart-eyed emoji.
Irwin's latest renovation saw him welcome a new bespoke window to the garden as well as a timeless wood-burning stove in the corner.
The 49-year-old's Newcastle home had undergone quite the change in recent months as Irwin has explained in a series of updates.
In one post in February, he revealed his wife had "scoured the globe" to find pink grout suitable for their bathroom renovation.
While in January he shared: "Always thought an ensuite of the main bedroom needs to be more than a corner shower and a toilet.
"So I’ve extended ours into an adjacent cupboard and doubled the size to something that befits a main bedroom." (sic)
The changes to his house - which he shares with children Rex, four, and twins Rafa and Cormac, both two, as well as wife Jess - come as Irwin continues to battle terminal cancer.

After being diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020, he discovered in 2022 that the disease had spread to his brain.
Irwin has spoken candidly and openly about his battle with the disease and admitted some doctors didn't expect him to see 2023.
The resilient TV presenter even stepped out last month to attend the star-studded TRIC Awards alongside his Escape to the Country co-stars.
He told the Mirror at the event: "Today is a good day. Yesterday I peeled myself out of bed and munched painkillers, but so far so good today.
"I take every day as a gift and as it comes."
