The Dance Moms star's partner didn’t hold back when issuing her verdict on the conversation

JoJo Siwa’s partner Kath Ebbs has broken their silence after Mickey Rourke issued homophobic comments towards the former Dance Moms star – causing outrage among Celebrity Big Brother viewers.

On Wednesday night, Rourke asked Siwa whether she liked boys or girls, and after the star confirmed that she was gay and her partner was non-binary, Rourke commented that he would make her straight after spending time together.

Siwa shut the comment down before Rourke continued to add that he would “tie you up” in order to do so, before referring to the star as a f*g.

Former Love Island star Chris Hughes firmly told the Hollywood actor that such comments were not acceptable and comforted Siwa, who was visibly upset by the interaction.

Rourke was given a formal warning by Big Brother before apologising to Siwa for the comments he made – however, Siwa’s partner was far from letting the comments go and took to their Instagram to issue a scathing rant.

Their first post was of the incident, which they captioned: “This is so f***ed up on so many levels.”

Ebbs went on to post five stories with themselves speaking to the camera, and fumed: “A lot of people want to know my thoughts on what Mickey Rourke, my thoughts on his comments towards my partner JoJo on Big Brother and quite frankly it is beyond disgusting.

“I have literally... it has taken me many hours to even process what the f*** I just watched. Not only because that is the literal love of my life and I want to protect her at all costs, but I feel helpless that I can’t be there to not only comfort her but to also lose it at that weasel of a man.

“But secondly, take the fact out that I have a massive emotional stake in his comments towards her; it is also just rooted in misogyny and violence. I don’t know if anyone put two and two together. I have obviously seen a lot of the comments calling out his homophobia, which, yes - but also his violent language.

“The five-minute clip, which was the whole conversation has so many f***ing layers to it, it is crazy. Firstly, he asked her if she was into boys or girls. She answers that she is gay. He then proceeds to tell her that he is going to turn her straight if he is in the house long enough. She shuts it down.

“Once she shuts it down he says he is going to tie her up. That is a r**e joke. That is. Call it what it is. Then, further, obviously she shuts that down. His next comment towards her is about the fact that Big Brother is a nomination show, and housemates vote each other out.

“His next joke, (the) thing that he says, in front of her is that he is going to vote ‘the lesbian’ out. He says that twice. His next point of call, when he essentially puts himself on her, says, ‘I’m going to turn you straight, I am going to tie you up’. She shuts him down over and over again; he then goes, actually, I am going to get rid of you, which is rooted in misogyny.

“If men deem you unf***able... he deemed her unf***able at that moment and then went if the male gaze is not part of this situation and I have no power over you sexually, which also - no offence Mickey - you look like a foot so you don’t stand a chance with anyone anyway, then he is like, 'Oh well then I am going to bully you. You’re not going to play into my creepy jokes? Then I am going to bully you and say that I don’t want you here'.

“And then he proceeds to call her a f*g. Like... there are so many f***ing layers to that interaction that it makes me feel sick to my stomach. It is rooted in misogyny and rooted in patriarchy, it has got a bit of an incel-ness to it, and yes, it is also crazily homophobic. There is a young lesbian woman in the house, and that is who he goes for and that is who he wants to vote out. I do feel a little bit disappointed that that hasn’t kind of been an added level to the conversation.

“Yes, the production gave him a formal warning and told him what he said was homophobic, but that is dangerous language and obviously it is a TV show with cameras everywhere and security and we saw the beautiful Chris Hughes, which thank you, Chris, thank you for doing my job. I was very upset, and then when I saw him backing her, having her back and comforting her, it made me feel a little bit better.

“I am a little bit disappointed that it wasn’t further called. And I would genuinely be so disappointed if the public doesn’t vote Mickey out. I don’t give a f**k if you think he is entertaining. I don’t give a f**k. He is a pig. He is a pig, and he is a dangerous person. I would not want to be alone in a room with him, and I wouldn’t want anyone to be alone with him.

“He later apologised to her and said that he has a short fuse. That wasn’t a short fuse. you got called out, and you're worried that people are going to think you are homophobic, which you are. But that honestly was the least of the problems on that ladder of behaviour. You don’t have a shortfuse, you need to pull your head in and read a book.

Furthering their rant, they posted a written story which read: “Also the fact that only ONE person pulled him up on it is very telling of where we are at.

“Men don’t bother wearing your ribbons on International Women's Day if you’re not going to actually start doing something to end men’s violence against women.

“It doesn’t just start when a woman or queer person is physically assaulted. The ladder to that is comments like this.”

They went on to post a news article where the headline read: “HOLLYWOOD: Actor Mickey Rourke pleads not guilty to spousal abuse.”

Ebbs penned: “Just so we’re clear. This man has been charged with DV and @bbuk thought it was a good idea to platform him. Seems like they were looking for this viral moment.” (sic)
