Jeremy Clarkson finally has an update on when fans can expect a new season of his Amazon Prime series, Clarkson's Farm, and even went the extra mile to reveal a fifth season of the show.

The series first began in 2021 and has gained a large following, becoming one of the biggest shows of the streaming era in the UK, along with thousands flocking to his Diddly Squat Farm Shop.

It follows Clarkson as he learns the tricks of the trade to manage his 1,000-acre farm in Oxfordshire, alongside farm manager Kaleb Cooper, land agent Charlie Ireland, "head of security" Gerald Cooper, and his partner Lisa Hogan.

Season three dropped over three months ago but it still remains one of Prime Video's top five most-watched shows and was only surpassed by the newly released second season of The Rings of Power.

Fans have been desperate to be given an update on when they can watch a new season after bingeing the last one and were treated by Clarkson during a recent interview on Times Radio with Cathy Newman.

Sharing an update on the progress of filming for season four, he revealed: "We're likely to wrap up filming for season four in a couple of weeks. After editing and translating, it should be out around May. Then, we’ll kick off filming for season five shortly after."

His latest comments come after Clarkson had already inadvertently revealed that a fifth season would be coming despite only just releasing season three.

Posting an image of his two pet dogs - Sansa and Arya Stark - he joked that they were "pleading" to be involved in season five and captioned the post: "The dogs pleading with (Clarkson’s Farm producer) Andy Wilman to be in season five."

Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to pick up on the hint, and left one to comment: "Season 5?! Amazing! Bring on season 4!" before another added: "Is that a (not so) subtle way of announcing that Amazon has green-lit another series".

Producer Andy Wilman previously said that neither himself nor Clarkson were afraid to bring Clarkson’s Farm to an end if it no longer felt genuine or organic, despite being such a huge show.

He told Deadline: "I’ve got no feelings on whether there’s a five or not. Jeremy’s the same. He’s like: 'When we’ve got nothing left to say, let’s walk away'."

Season four will see Clarkson exploring new ways to profit from his farm's produce - which includes meat, vegetables, and also the on-site shop.

The update comes after Clarkson's pub - The Farmer's Dog - issued a concerning statement to its followers and fans after imposters emerged online disguising themselves as the Cotswolds drinking establishment.

Taking to Instagram, The Farmer's Dog posted a screenshot of a Facebook page that is impersonating the pub and captioned the post: "There is a FAKE FB page impersonating us and running giveaways.

The words "FAKE PAGE" were written elsewhere on the screenshot while the fake page in question disguised itself to social media users with the description: "The Farmers Dog Pub Owned and Run by Jeremy Clarkson."
