The Clarkson's Farm host is no stranger to interacting with his social media followers

In his latest update on Twitter, Jeremy Clarkson decided to poke fun at a disgruntled user who criticised his beer brand.

Clarkson joined forces with the Cotswold Brew Co back in 2021 to launch Hawkstone in order to "offer a range of premium lager and cider" on the market.

The venture into the beverages market hasn't been smooth sailing, however, as earlier this summer, Clarkson issued a panicked statement in which a number of batches had to be recalled over fears they'd "explode".

His latest criticism came in the form of a Twitter user who admitted they boycotted a trip to the Hawkstone brewery after they discovered Clarkson was a founder.

They penned online: "Travelling through Oxfordshire, saw the @RealHawkstone brewery, liking beer we approached...

"Saw it was run by @JeremyClarkson so turned round and drove away..." the user concluded.

The Twitter user's words clearly failed to irk Clarkson, however, who replied in his usual sarcastic manner.

"Oh no," the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire host answered back. "However will we manage?"

It didn't take long for Clarkson's fans to react to the interaction, with one echoing his tongue-in-cheek response by saying: "Bet you're heartbroken."

Elsewhere, another followed in the star's footsteps as they weighed in: "Soul crushing."

And a third added to the responses: "It will be rough but I have a feeling you will get by!"

While fans were able to see the funny side of Clarkson's latest interaction, a number were a more concerned back in July when he revealed the "massive cock up" which had taken place at the brewery.

"F**k f**k f**k f**k f**k f**k," Clarkson aptly began his tweet on July 21. "There’s been a massive cock up and as a result, there’s a very slim chance, some of our Hawkstone CIDER bottles might, there’s no easy way of saying this, explode.

"If the cap has the code L3160, open it underwater, pour it away and get in touch for a refund. Info@Hawkstone.co.

"Really sorry about this but on the upside, the beer is fine and still delicious. As is the cider, in bottles that are unaffected. Which is almost all of them."

Clarkson promised to refund affected customers and continues to sell Hawkstone online and at his Diddly Squat farm near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.
