Jeremy Clarkson is reportedly set to rake in his share of a huge £24 million kitty alongside his The Grand Tour co-stars Richard Hammond and James May.

The trio have been working alongside one another since their Top Gear days on the BBC and after finding a new home on Amazon with The Grand Tour in 2016, they decided to call time on their tenure together once and for all this year.

This means that, along with producer Andy Wilman, the four men no longer require the services of production company W. Chump & Sons.

The company was set up to manage the income from the motoring shows they all worked on but with Clarkson now busy with his farm, May launching a gin brand and Hammond busy in his workshop, their solo ventures have taken priority.

The final episode of The Grand Tour is still to air later this year but on July 11, it was reported the team signed off on the dissolution of W. Chump and Sons.

Three documents were filed with Companies House, MailOnline has claimed, including declaring solvency, appointing a voluntary liquidator and making a “special resolution to wind up”.

It's in the Declaration of Solvency where the money set to be shared among the four men has been detailed.

According to the Mail, the document shows the firm has £22.9 million in cash and is awaiting a further £1.11 million injection from trade debtors.

Therefore, Clarkson, May, Wilman and Hammond each stand to pocket £6 million from the career move.

The financial boost will undoubtedly be welcome news for Clarkson who, alongside Clarkson's Farm co-star Kaleb Cooper, has issued worrying predictions for the farm's haul this year.

Thanks to adverse weather, both Clarkson and Cooper have been sparking concern with updates from Diddly Squat showing several areas ravaged by rain.

Earlier this week, Cooper went as far to admit he and his boss face a "difficult" future at Diddly Squat once it comes to harvest.

Cooper wrote on his Instagram Stories: "I can sense this being an interesting and difficult season!

"We really don't need this rain in July after the winter we had," he added, alongside a face-palm emoji.

Despite his woes on the farm, Clarkson was able to pull off the "dream" purchase of his own Cotswolds pub a few weeks ago - although he admitted it needs a lot of work before it can open to the public.

While it may not be open yet, Clarkson, Cooper and a select few guests did provide a sneak peek inside the pub last week after the former Top Gear man invited a handful of people to watch the Euro 2024 final at the venue.

In a video shared to his beer brand Hawkstone's page, Clarkson could be seen pulling pints for his guests.

The caption to accompany the clip read: "Last night we got a bit over excited thinking that England might…

"So we accidentally opened our very unfinished pub for the game... more news to follow of a real opening much later in the summer or autumn… #backbritishfarmingdrinkhawkstone." (sic)
