The presenters have been sniping at each other since at least 2022

Jeremy Clarkson, 64, has added fuel to the fire of his long-running feud with eco enthusiast Chris Packham, 63, in a scathing slight at the BBC’s Winterwatch.

Packham hosts the seasonal nature show with Michaela Strachan, 58.

Both Clarkson and Packham have long been engaged in verbal tit-for-tats, dating as far back to Clarkson’s controversial Meghan Markle column in 2022 where Packham called for imprisonment.

More recently, the pair locked horns over Taylor Swift’s use of private jets to fly between concerts.

Speaking to The Mirror, Packham said Swift "should be leading" by choosing to fly commercially instead to reduce her carbon footprint.

Clarkson hit back at the suggestion, calling the nature presenter's words "tantamount to bullying".

Continuing, he slammed Packham as someone who "simply doesn’t understand the real world".

"Packham is reasonably well known among the nation’s ramblers and bingo enthusiasts, but he has no knowledge of what it’s like to be properly famous," he said.

Mocking the BBC presenter's level of fame once more, Clarkson concluded his point by teasing he "hopes one day [Packham] releases an album that propels him to global superstardom".

"Because then we’d see how long it’d take him to ask his agent to book a G5," he said.

Now, Clarkson has reignited his long-runningfeudwith Packham while providing his thoughts on Friday’s episode of Winterwatch.

"I’m confused. Gary Lineker was told he couldn’t appear on the BBC if he was going to have opinions," he began, referencing the row that followed the outgoing Match of the Day presenter’s criticism of Government policy last year.

"But here I am, watching Packham on Winterwatch," Clarkson concluded frostily posting on X.

Responding to Clarkson’s comment, one fan asked: "Why are you watching such tosh?!"

"I’ve learned that mandarin ducks are gay. Who knew?" the 64-year-old said back, tongue-in-cheek.

Others weighed in on Clarkson’s point, branding Packham as part of a "climate cult".

"Climate change zealots are exempt," another added, referencing a perceived bias in BBC impartiality.

Another slammed: "Packham the biggest grifter of climate change. I no longer watch him. It’s disgraceful how he uses his position."

"I’m not watching Winterwatch because of Packham," a third declared.
