US telly watchers have been left furious over a question delivered to one budding quizzer earlier this week.
The long-running quiz show, which is fronted by Ken Jennings in the US, welcomed three contestants - Cris, Ben and Jared - to the show on Monday with each of the trio hoping to pocket some serious cash.
At one point during proceedings, Cris decided to opt for a teaser from the Speech! Parts of Speech! category which could potentially bag him $600.
Jeopardy! host Jennings read aloud the answers behind the card, to which Cris would then be tasked with providing the suitable questions.
"Xem, xyrs, xemself," was the answer and Cris promptly buzzed back in to provide the answer.
"What are pronouns?" Cris replied to which Jennings replied: "Those are pronouns! Neo-pronouns!"

Neo-pronouns are typically used by those who wish to identify without using "he", "she" or "they" pronouns.
Shortly after the episode aired across the Atlantic, several viewers took to social media to slam the show's decision to incorporate the neo-pronouns into its teasers.
"Dear God, we’ve lost #Jeopardy to the woke insanity," one fuming X user penned.
A second echoed: "Can't believe Jeopardy has gone woke. What a disgrace. Our family just stopped watching after your pronoun debacle. Bye."

Another similarly switched off and pleaded with others to do the same: "Jeopardy! Has gone woke. That means it’s time to #boycottjeopardy."
Meanwhile, a fourth let loose: "@Jeopardy f*** jeopardy! We don’t need to play this f***ing woke pronoun game!!! And there does not need to be any of these f***ing questions on the show!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Time to cancel Jeopardy. I will never watch it again. How about you?#CancelJeopardy," another potential boycotter raised.
And a sixth weighed in: "Show is just cr*p now. Between the screwups, wrong answers, lack of new players and now the WOKE cr*p, Im done with this show.

The Jeopardy! franchise is no stranger to receiving criticism - especially after it launched a UK version earlier this year.
Stephen Fry fronted the game show on ITV but some were left "switching off" again over its "boring" format.
Jeopardy! airs on NBC in the United States.
