Jennifer Aniston has made her feelings clear regarding Donald Trump's vice presidential candidate JD Vance over some resurfaced comments where he regarded Vice President Kamala Harris as a "childless cat lady".

The comments which were made in 2021 questioned Vice President HarrisĀ“ leadership due to the fact that she did not have any biological children during the time when Vance was campaigning as part of the Republicans' presidential ticket.

During his bid for Senate in Ohio, he told Fox News: "We are effectively run in this country via the Democrats," and referred to them as "a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that theyĀ“ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too."

He honed in on the fact that it included Harris, US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a New York Democrat.

Vance added in the interview: "It's just a basic fact - you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC - the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children.

"And how does it make any sense that we've turned our country over to people who don't really have a direct stake in it?"

Vance has three children, sons Ewan, 6 and Vivek, 4 and daughter Mirabel, 2.

Harris spoke about Vanceā€™s stances on IVF and abortion in a Kalamazoo, MI campaign speech last week and fumed: "Understand, this is a fellow who ā€” in the United States Senate ā€” participated in blocking protections for IVF.

"This is an individual who has made every indication that he is for a national abortion ban."

Whilst many were outraged by Vance's comments, Aniston, 55, felt the need to speak up for others and issued a scathing response on her Instagram story today.

Posting a clip of him speaking with conservative commentator Tucker Carlson, she penned: "I truly can't believe that this is coming from a potential VP of the United States.

"All I can say isā€¦ Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too."

Aniston herself is a big advocate for IVF after suffering from fertility issues herself and spoke with Allure back in December 2022 about how she had past sought to have children.

She explained: "I would say my late 30s, 40s, I'd gone through really hard s***, and if it wasn't for going through that, I would've never become who I was meant to be.

"That's why I have such gratitude for all those s****y things. Otherwise, I would've been stuck being this person who was so fearful, so nervous, so unsure of who they were. And now, I don't f***ing care."

She added: "It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road. All the years and years and years of speculation ... it was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it.

"I was throwing everything at it. I would've given anything if someone had said to me, 'Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favour'. You just don't think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed."
