Jeff Brazier has reportedly launched legal action to prevent his son Freddy Brazier from seeing his maternal grandmother Jackiey Budden.
The TV presenter, 45, is said to be attempting to block contact between his 20-year-old son and Jade Goody's mother, claiming the relationship has been "incredibly detrimental" to Freddy's wellbeing.
Brazier shares both Freddy and his older brother Bobby, 21, with the late Big Brother star Goody, who died from cervical cancer in 2009 aged 27.
The legal proceedings mark a significant escalation in the long-running feud between Brazier and Budden, which has reportedly been ongoing for years, with The Sun reporting that Brazier has hired a top barrister for upcoming hearings related to the case.
A source told the publication: "This is something Jeff and anyone who cares about Freddy hopes will help keep Freddy safe from a relationship that has been incredibly detrimental to his well-being for a long time now."
The insider added: "The fact that he is going down this route shows how concerned we all are and how our efforts to keep Fred safe are being grossly undermined by other people."

The legal action reportedly demonstrates the level of concern Brazier has regarding the situation, with previous reports suggesting Freddy and Brazier have had a strained relationship, with the young model allegedly having a "secret feud" with his father.
Sources told the Daily Star that Freddy often "storms out the house" after explosive arguments with Brazier and seeks refuge at his grandmother Jackiey's flat in southeast London to "cool down" following these disputes.
"Freddy will often turn up on the doorstep, sometimes very unhappy, and wanting to see his nan," a source told the Daily Mail.
"He and Jeff often argue, the rows can be bad, things go really, really pear-shaped between them and that's it, he leaves."
The tension between Brazier and Budden dates back to shortly after Jade's death in 2009, with their relationship deteriorating over the years.

In a 2012 interview with HuffPost, Brazier revealed that Budden had bought the boys "unsuitable" gifts like a hamster and mobile phones without consulting him.
"I got a phone call from an excitable Freddy telling me he was now the proud owner of a hamster! I feel I have more responsibility than I really know what to do with as it is, let alone introducing a pet into the equation."
In 2023, Budden was reportedly banned from attending the Strictly Come Dancing final where Bobby competed.
She has been vocal in her criticism of Brazier, most notably at the 2023 National Television Awards where Bobby won the Rising Star award for his role in EastEnders.
According to The Mirror, the 68-year-old had secretly bought a ticket to attend the ceremony without the family's knowledge and was overheard expressing pride in Bobby before launching into a verbal attack on Brazier, stating: "I'm so proud of him. He's incredible.
"They didn't know I was there. I didn't allow them to know I was there. I didn't want to see their dad. He's a c**k. But I'm going to wait until they're older before I let rip."

During their appearance on Celebrity Race Across The World, Brazier expressed excitement about spending time with Freddy despite living under the same roof.
"D'you know what I'm most looking forward to about this trip is that I feel like I'm about to learn a lot more about my son," he said before the journey began.
In the series premiere, he admitted: "[Fred] isn't at home loads and as a result, I don't see loads of him, but the beauty of this trip is he's with me and can't shake me off."
