It comes soon after Chloe shared a candid update about her struggles last year

JB Gill's Strictly Come Dancing journey from last year's series was full of ups and downs, with his original dance partner Amy Dowden having to pull out of the competition. However, he went on to make the final alongside Lauren Oakley.

The JLS star's wife was also struggling during the time, with Chloe Gill having opened up earlier this year about reaching "breaking point". Marking the end of a milestone though, Gill recently shared a sweet post about her husband.

Singer Gill, 38, took part in this year's BBC Strictly tour and made history by participating with his two partners from the show, Dowden and Oakley.

The tour has just concluded, and to mark the end of the achievement, Chloe posted a series of wholesome snaps of her husband-of-11-years alongside a sweet caption.

"COMPLETED it!" she penned, adding: "7 months of STRICTLY and didn’t he absolutely smash it!!

"He did the full run: 13 live tv shows and a nail-biting final followed by 35 live arena shows!

"We are SO proud of you and even more excited that we’ve got you back!

"Thank you Strictly for being everything and more you were truly FAB-U-LOUS #thegills #strictly #soproud."

The snaps depict the family-of-four smiling together as well as photos of Gill performing on stage.

Their two children also featured heavily, having fun behind-the-scenes as they proudly watched their dad competing.

The gushing post comes shortly after Chloe opened up about how 2024 had been difficult for her.

Last month, the mother-of-two opened up about the tumultuous and "personally challenging" time she faced last year as her husband competed on the beloved BBC series.

Chloe supported Gill by frequently appearing in the audience during live shows, and also made appearances in the rehearsal room as he and his partners trained.

However, she faced some criticism about her involvement in the rehearsal room, especially as she is a trained dancer.

In early January, Chloe shared another photo of the family enjoying a holiday, accompanied by a candid capiton about her struggles.

"I've been hiding away with my babies for the last 11 days! I knew it was needed but I didn’t realise just how much!" she began.

The post continued: "Last year was possibly one of the most personally challenging for me.

"Keeping everything going, being everywhere, supporting everyone, living up to everybody's expectations and trying to keep those around me happy in the midst of this fast-paced life we live was exhausting and overwhelming.

"It got to the point where people began saying that I was physically there but mentally absent! I was en route to burning out so this break was well and truly needed!!

"I learned a lot about myself, the main thing being that somewhere deep inside me, I have a grit and determination that will not allow me to break.

"I had multiple tests and situations that brought me close to breaking point but each time I realised that it was nothing a good cry and pulling up those big girl pants couldn’t sort out.

"This year, I’m really going to try and be kinder to myself and look after my body, mind and soul," she continued. "I’ve neglected this since having children as they completely consume my life but I know that once I take a little time for myself, everyone around me will be able to benefit from a better version of me."

Gill concluded her post by saying her "aim" for the year "is that as I come to the end of 2025 I’ll feel less burnt out and overwhelmed", adding: "2025, I’m finally ready to take all you’ve got to throw at me! It’s going to be an amazing year #thegills #newyear #2025." (sic)
