The Gavin and Stacey star's Berkshire home is set to be demolished
James Corden has been given permission to demolish his £8million Berkshire home soon after moving back to the UK last year.
Gavin and Stacey star Corden, 45, moved back from the US after quitting The Late Late Show.
He's now been given the green light to demolish the abandoned mansion after several reported incidents in his unoccupied former home.
Corden was reportedly spotted house hunting in Hampstead last year but still owns the empty Berkshire home.
OK! reports he has plans to bulldoze the property and rebuild it into a more traditional home with a pool, sauna and steam room.
Last year, 70 incidents were reported in the property, all of them potential break-ins.
A YouTube "urban explorer" shared a video filmed inside the unoccupied mansion, displaying what remained inside the home, according to The Mirror.
Last year, the actor was involved in a planning dispute with Wokingham District Council after they halted some of his proposals for the site.
The actor will soon be busy again with the BBC sitcom Gavin and Stacey, which he recently confirmed the return of.
Last month, after much speculation about another episode of the popular 2007 sitcom, he and co-star Ruth Jones announced on social media one final episode will be airing this Christmas.

In an Instagram post, the pair can be seen holding aloft a script for the instalment they've written together.
"Some news… It’s official!!!" Corden began in the accompanying caption. "We have finished writing the last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey.
"See you on Christmas Day, BBC One. Love Ruth and James," he signed off. (sic)
The series officially ended in 2010, but there have since been a few Christmas specials. However, the last one to air was back in 2019.

The comeback episode was also highly-anticipated but it left fans on a huge cliffhanger after Nessa Jenkins, played by Jones, proposed to Corden's character Smithy.
Ever since, fans have hoped for another instalment to find out the fate of the two favourites but began to lose hope as the years went on with no news of a revival
