The ITV talent show may have returned last week, but many viewers are already making demands for change
ITV's The Voice continued on Saturday evening, with Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, LeAnn Rimes, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones back to offer their expertise as coaches to a whole host of hopeful singers.
The episode saw the panel eagerly awaiting the perfect voice to compel them to turn their chairs - but just minutes in, fans were distracted away from the singing by a feature of the show they demanded to be changed.
The series has seen a few new introductions already this year, with former coaches Olly Murs and Anne-Marie having left the show.
As of the 2024 series, singer LeAnn Rimes, 42, and McFly members Tom Fletcher, 39 and Danny Jones, 38, have joined the panel, with the band members acting as a duo.
Talking about the new judges recently, host Emma Willis explained how Rimes may have a slight advantage.
The 48-year-old presenter has been fronting the show since 2014 and has seen different judges come and go on the show.
"LeAnn is amazing. It blows me away that she has been in the business for 30 years," she commented.

She added: "She started as a kid, so she has a wealth of knowledge and is brilliant as a coach. She also does The Voice Australia, so she knows exactly how it all works and excels in the chair."
She's a Lady hit-maker Jones, 84, also made a recent admission about his co-star. Talking about will.i.am, he remarked: "I think Will can be competitive. He is sneaky and sometimes he tries to hide if he is going to hit the button."
The 49-year-old rapper has starred in The Voice UK since 2012 and coached on the UK's edition of The Voice Kids from 2017 to 2023.
Unfortunately, as the second episode of the series aired on Saturday, fans made several complaints about the judges and the amount of focus the show gives them.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, many viewers blasted how much of the show was dedicated to the coaches rather then the aspiring singers.
The opening of the show saw a long introduction for the judges, and halfway through the episode, Jones and Rimes performed a lengthy duet.
Not all fans of the show enjoyed the unexpected number from the established singers and instead called for more of the show's coverage to be dedicated to those auditioning.
"They spend way too much of every episode introducing the judges! #TheVoice #TheVoiceUK," one complained.
