ITV The 1% Club viewers were left unimpressed as the final question proved to be far too "easy".
On Saturday’s show, host Lee Mack led the 100 quizzers through increasingly harder questions that were tested against the general public.
As the questions increase in difficulty, a smaller percentage of the public can answer leading eventually to the 1% Question – which 99 per cent of people polled by the show failed to get.
As the studio quizzers are gradually whittled down, only three contestants were left to face the infamous final question.

However, viewers were bemused to see the question was not as unfathomable as some had predicted.
Lee posed the question: "I keep forgetting my four-digit PIN number. I know each digit is higher than the previous digit but I need this diagram to remember it. What is my four-digit PIN number?"
The answers were hidden amongst a random bank of letters, challenging quizzers to seek them out and order them correctly.
"The 1% question was a f****** word search? #The1PercentClub," one irate fan blasted on X.
That viewer was not the only on incredulous at the 1% Question, with others also flooding social media with their thoughts.

One agreed: "That one per cent question was just a word search puzzle, found earlier questions much harder #The1PercentClub"
Another wrote: "That 1% question was easier than the 80% question!"
"Easiest 1% question ever. So much easier than some before it," a third complained.
However, not all viewers found the question too simple.
"Question could potentially cause some confusion, instead of ‘higher’, the word ‘greater’ should really have been used. The start of the eight is positionally higher than the four," one pointed out.
Another revealed: "I couldn’t even understand the question but my 9 year old daughter got it in 30 seconds!"

Despite the debate over the ease of the question, only three of the 100 in-studio contestants made it to the 1% round.
One finalist, Jack, got the correct numbers but in the wrong order. Another, Dom, got the numbers wrong.
Only one, Dominic, got the answer correct – leaving him to collect the entire £96,000 jackpot for himself.
The show’s official account later wrote: Congrats to Dominic. "Big win! Played very well and was super calm."
"Pressure is for tyres," the quizzing champion responded, referencing Alan Shearer’s classic punditry from the 2024 Euros.
