Phillip Schofield seems to have been removed from an episode of Emmerdale he once guest-starred in following his highly-publicised ITV exit last year.
Eagle-eyed fans of the soap realised Schofield, 61, had been taken out of the instalment when it was re-aired on ITV3 last week.
TV star Schofield, who starred as This Morning host for more than 20 years, left the broadcaster last year after admitting to having had an affair with a younger colleague.
Before the controversy, he had been a regular face on ITV, appearing on several other shows for the channel. In 2005, he even starred in an Emmerdale episode for a cameo appearance.
He and his former This Morning co-star Fern Britton appeared as themselves to interview soap character Alan Turner (played by Richard Thorp).
A viewer of the episode pointed out the removal on X, formerly Twitter, writing: "Erm did Phillip Schofield just get cut out of #ClassicEmmerdale? Their 2005 guest appearance just aired on ITV3 and all of the shots were close up on Fern and yet there’s this image. Anyone have the original episode in their collection to compare?"

They posted a still of Schofield sat next to Britton on the show as the pair chatted to the soap character, emphasising the apparent change to the episode.
GB News has contacted ITV for a comment on the supposed removal of Schofield's scenes from the soap.
The seeming snub comes at the same time Schofield has been making headlines once again after it was reported he signed a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to prevent his former lover ever talking publicly about their affair.
A source stated: "It means that Phil knows that his young ex will not ever be able to speak about their relationships so he can probably sleep a lot better at night now."

Speaking to the Daily Mail, they added: "He has lost a lot but imagine if the full details came out it would be pretty cataclysmic for him."
Schofield's ITV career abruptly ended last summer after he confessed to the "unwise but not illegal" affair. The revelation came about following reports of a feud between Schofield and This Morning co-star Holly Willoughby.
Speaking to the BBC's Amol Rajan at the time, Schofield broke his silence to explain: "The first thing I want to say is: I am deeply sorry for having lied to them, and to many others about a relationship that I had with someone working on This Morning.
"I did have a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague at This Morning.

"Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship."
He went on to apologise to ITV, friends and the public for "lying" about the affair before expressing his remorse to his wife, Stephanie Lowe.
Schofield immediately left ITV while Willoughby made a lengthy statement about the scandal after she returned to the magazine show soon after, explaining she felt "shaken and let down".
Willoughby also left This Morning in October and the pair have since been replaced by Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.
