I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! viewers have raised serious concerns about ITV's duty of care after hosts Ant and Dec revealed the shockingly small daily food portions given to campmates.
The revelation about the minimal rice and beans rations has sparked debate about contestant welfare, particularly as recent failed trials have left celebrities with no additional food.
The issue has gained attention after McPartlin and Donnelly shared a social media video displaying the meagre daily allowance, which left fans questioning the show's feeding practices.
In the social media video, the Geordie duo displayed a single small portion each of rice and beans that campmates receive daily.
"They really do rely on what they win in the trial," the presenters explained in the clip.
"It's not a lot, is it?" McPartlin remarked, adding: "How rank does that look."

The minimal portions have shocked viewers who previously assumed contestants received larger quantities of the basic rations throughout the day.
Viewers took to social media to express their shock at the minimal portions.
"Wow. I presumed they got that per meal, rather than per day," one stunned viewer wrote on X.
"That's actually insane, I can't imagine how hungry they were yesterday," commented another.

Others questioned the legality and welfare implications, with someone else asking: "Is there a duty of care that they aren't getting their 5 a day of fruit or veg?"
"How is that legal?" a fourth asked. (sic)
The situation has been compounded by recent failed trials, with McCullough and GK Barry returning to camp empty-handed after their Drown in the Dumpschallenge.
McPartlin's frustration became evident during the trial, as he repeatedly urged the pair to "hurry up" while they were "screaming at water."
Speaking on I'm A Celebrity... Unpacked, he admitted: "I got quite annoyed at one point. If you can't do it then you can't do it but just get on with it and try it."
Two new arrivals – Maura Higgins and Richard Coles – entered the Jungle Junkyard last night and were tasked with fooling the main camp into thinking they were living in squalar – however it was far from the truth.
