Eight new budding chefs are taking to the kitchen to be crowned the newest Cooking with the Stars champion
Cooking with the Stars' latest series aired on ITV last night and saw Abbey Clancy, Carol Vorderman, Harry Pinero, Pasha Kovalev introduced as the first round of celebrities to battle it out.
The other four celebrities taking part in this year's series are Ellie Simmonds OBE, Linford Christie, Katherine Ryan, and Christopher Biggins who will go head-to-head next week.
Each star is paired with a chef - including the likes of Rosemary Shrager, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Jack Stein – who will mentor them during each challenge, hoping to turn them into restaurant-level cooks.
Emma Willis and Tom Allen returned as hosts of the show to encourage the celebrities to come up with steamy and sizzling dishes.
However, as the first episode kicked off, many fans switched off within minutes and complained about the "Z list" stars the show had employed as well as the levels of enthusiasm they all appeared to show.
Taking to their X accounts, one slammed: "Never watched this before #CookingWithTheStars. Won't be watching it again! Who dreams up these beyond boring programs with Z list 'celebrities'? So so bad @ITV."

"5 minutes was enough. It's terrible #CookingWithTheStars," another added before a third said: "Not sure what possessed ITV to get these lot on the new series! Was looking forward to it so much but may swerve from now on."
Someone else replied: "A YouTube 'star' and a Carol Vorderman? Lemme see what BBC is showing cos it's bound to be better than this dribble".
"All the whooping and cheering is getting on my nerves #CookingWithTheStars," one annoyed viewer exclaimed.
However, not all were left unimpressed with the opening episode, as one praised: "@carolvorders. Already enjoying watching you on #CookingwiththeStars. They get some really good stars on this!"

Vorderman and Pinero were in the bottom two and had to go head-to-head with the line of judges, with each one of them casting a secret vote on whose dish they preferred.
The former Countdown star came out on top and survived another day, wowing with a Black Forest gateau - which meant Pinero had to say an early goodbye and hang up his apron.
Willis noted to Pinero: "Harry, we really don't wanna see you leave the competition."
However, the 33-year-old revealed how much fun he had on the show and said: "It's the start of a new journey for me. I've left here with some skills I'm gonna use.

"And I've got a friend now, with Michael. You know what I mean? I've got a friend now, so I'm happy, thank you!"
Speaking about why he wanted to go on the show beforehand, Pinero said: "I have a son so to be able to cook for him and cook fun food for him, and once he starts growing up and he sees me cook, he will want to as well."
